To all friends of Project Paraguay:

We want to share a situation that has developed over time with a neighbor who lives next to El Renuevo church. This man has been aggressively demanding that something be done about the noise coming from the church and the school. He claims that it is affecting the health of his elderly mother.
Paraguay does not have zoning laws like the US and as Pastor Acevedo tells me things get done or blocked according to who has the most influence/power.
Of course there are many scenarios that could play out such as the church buying the neighbor’s property(which is probably what he wants) or selling El Renuevo property and moving.
Apparently this man has a connection with a person of influence and they filed some sort of court action. Pastor Mauriera is attempting to block this action against the church.
Please pray that God would intervene on El Renuevo’s behalf, soften the heart of the neighbor and complaints would cease.
